Tod is an experienced Board Certified WOC Nurse who is currently a Nurse Clinician on the Wound Care Team at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, VA. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. He is the recipient of the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet National Nurse of the Year 2013 Award for Exemplary Professional Practice.. In 2014 he received the Alumni Transformer in Nursing and Healthcare Award and the 2011 Distinguished Alumnus Award, both from The Ohio State University. He is currently enrolled in the doctoral program at VCU with a focus on reperfusion injury. Most importantly, Tod has been with his bride for more than 18 years and is the father of three little girls.
