Nurse Practitioner, UPMC Central Pennsylvania Region, Wound and Hyperbaric Centers
Cayleigh Minter is representing the Central Pennsylvania UPMC Wound and Hyperbaric Centers as a Nurse Practitioner. She also serves as an Assistant Professor and Graduate Coordinator for the Wehrheim School of Nursing at Millersville University, in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. After receiving her BSN from York College in 2008, she practiced in Emergency Medicine. She later completed her MSN Nurse Practitioner (NP) from Millersville University in 2014, Doctor of Nursing Practice from Millersville University in 2020, and obtained her Certified Wound Care Nurse- Advanced Practice Certification. She has since transitioned from emergency medicine, to other specialties, and then to outpatient wound care in 2020. Her inpatient perspectives have been impactful on her outpatient management and approaches to patient care. Professionally she enjoys participating in quality improvement initiatives as a change agent. Her current project and investigations specialize on the inter-collaborative nature of caring for the complex and chronic wounded patient across the inpatient and outpatient care continuum.
