Dee Waugh RN, RM

Dee Waugh has been a member of the WCET(R) for more than 20 years and has had the privilege of travelling to and working in many countries around the world. The discrepancies of availability of healthcare and resources between developed and emerging countries is vast.

Dee is a Stomaltherapy nurse in Cape Town, South Africa and is the director of the WCET(R) recognised Stoma Care Education Programme, educating nurses from South Africa and Africa. Working with students from Africa, Dee has been party to the difficulties patients and health care professionals experience in obtaining suitable - if any stoma supplies.
