Donna Z. Bliss, PhD, RN, FGSA, FAAN, WOCNF, is a Professor and School of Nursing Foundation Professor of Nursing Research at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Minneapolis, MN. She has 25 years of funded research and >125 publications and presentations investigating the epidemiology, assessment, prevention, and management of fecal incontinence and dual incontinence and ways to improve patients’ quality of life. She recently chaired an international committee of the ICS-ICI that conducted and published a systematic review of the conservative management of fecal incontinence.
