Katherine J. Wallace BS, RHIA
Kathy Wallace serves as director of performance improvement at the Indiana Hospital Association, which represents the interests of approximately 170 Indiana hospitals. Kathy has more than 25 years of experience in health care. Prior to joining IHA, she served as director of medical quality management at Columbus Regional Hospital, where she worked in a number of areas including Joint Commission accreditation and compliance, Lean/Sigma, strategic planning, hospital/physician relations, and medical staff quality and credentialing oversight. She also led Columbus Regional in its adoption of the Malcolm Baldrige criteria and application development. Kathy has served as a national examiner with the Baldrige program since 2005. She is currently an alumni examiner. Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in health information administration from the School of Medicine at Indiana University.
