Rebecca Bryan DNP, AGPCNP, APN

Rebecca Bryan, DNP is the Director of Community Outreach and Professional Development at Rutgers University School of Nursing-Camden. Her passion is to raise interprofessional awareness about trauma-informed approaches to care, particularly about the impact of childhood adversity on adult health and well-being. In 2012 she founded the UrbanPromise Wellness Center in Camden, NJ, serving trauma-impacted youth with evidence-based initiatives grounded in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) research. She is certified in trauma-informed care. Dr. Bryan is also the owner of Rebecca Bryan Consulting LLC, where she blogs regularly about the science generated by ACEs research and is currently a trainer for Health Federation of Philadelphia. She has 20 years of experience working in the primary care setting and has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
