Dr. Osborne obtained a Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego and completed two post-doctoral fellowships in the fields of premature aging and stem cell research.
She has over 25 years of experience as a research scientist focused on multidisciplinary fields including microbiology and wound healing and has an extensive publication record in prestigious journals including Cell and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).
For the past 15 years at Solventum, Dr. Osborne has served as an MSL and, prior to this role, as a staff scientist and tissue culture manager devoted to elucidating mechanisms of action of negative pressure wound therapies. In this role, Dr. Osborne directed research designed to further elucidate mechanisms of action for several therapies including V.A.C. Veraflo™ Therapy; Prevena™ Incision Management System; and V.A.C® on multiple adult patient stem cells.
Dr. Osborne has 11 peer-reviewed publications, >150 speaker and poster presentations, >20 invention submissions, and 1 issued patent. For over 7 years, she has been gathering insights on current clinical practice from health care professionals and discussing the science supporting wound therapies as an MSL.
