Tracy Deskin RN, MSN, CHC

Tracy Deskin is a master’s prepared nurse and a Director of Clinical Risk Management for UW Medicine. Tracy has a diverse healthcare background with experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors covering a broad spectrum of healthcare environments that include hospitals, hospice, long term acute care, home health, and community health. She has 15 years’ experience leading accreditation, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and clinical risk management efforts. Throughout her career her goal has been to ensure a compassionate, patient-centered response to patient harm events with timely resolution for patients and providers, coupled with accountability and learning to prevent such events from recurring.
