The Wound Treatment Associate (WTA) and Ostomy Care Associate (OCA) Programs are continuing education programs that were developed to further empower wound, ostomy, and continence specialty nurses and improve patient outcomes by enhancing their entire nursing team. These programs prepare non-specialty nurses to provide basic, bedside wound and ostomy care.
