Session Description:
Progressive mobility is the graded application of positioning and mobility techniques to return patients to prior levels of function. With critical or prolonged illness, recovery of function is slow and increases the duration of risk for pressure injury. This webinar will address pressure injury prevention at all levels of progressive mobility and the ergonomic issues for nurses with these patients.

Learning Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this educational program, the learner should be able to:

  1. Describe the risks for pressure injury that occur with various levels of progressive mobility
  2. Identify preventive measures for pressure injury at all levels of progressive mobility

This webinar is supported by an educational grant from Stryker. The WOCN Society does not endorse specific products and services.
