Description: Career success involves traveling on the professional development highway. Regularly experiencing the thrill of achieving your goals, making measurable progress toward professional successes, and gaining respect as a leader and expert clinician are delightful aspects of your “road trip” as one navigates bumps and twists in the road. The “Heavy Chevy” of professional development promises great destinations: Constant learning, knowing the latest innovations, and great personal satisfaction. This session will focus on critical components of career development and professional success.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this educational program, the learner should be able to:

  1. Analyze crucial aspects of professional development including business skills, marketing processes and leadership/communication.
  2. Describe components and processes of career development including professional demeanor, data management, and consulting ability
