You must be registered to participate!This session will look at the neuroscience behind mindfulness exercises and how the practice can serve as a useful tool for preventing burnout and compassion fatigue in providers. There will also be some discussion regarding the prescription of these techniques for patients and their family members.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this educational program, the learner should have an understanding of the physiology behind yoga and contemplative practices, as well as insight into the practical applications in a clinical setting.
