Program Overview: This continence session will review normal bowel function, including and anatomy and pathophysiology. Evidence based treatments for fecal incontinence including medication management, biofeedback and behavioral modifications will be discussed. At the conclusion of the presentation, case studies will be used to assist the learner with applying knowledge for the management of fecal incontinence and discussion of patient outcomes.

Learning Outcome: Following this activity, learners will report increased confidence in being able to develop fecal incontinence management plans based on the relevant pathology and assessment data.
