Although medical device related pressure ulcers (MDRPU) have been described in the literature for over forty years, these ulcers continue to be misidentified and inconsistently reported. This interactive session will provide attendees with a thorough review of the MDRPU literature focusing on epidemiology, risk identification spanning from prematurity to geriatrics, as well as practice implications.
