In this fast-paced presentation, learn how you can seize the power of new presentations tools such as Prezi, engage colleagues in social networking via LinkedIn, use Twitter in the physical classroom, and facilitate engaging webinars.

Learning Objectives:

  • Summarize the history of social media and their use in professional development
  • Describe three opportunities to encourage peers to learn, share, and develop their social network in professional groups at LinkedIn
  • Describe three ideas for incorporating Twitter into their teaching strategies
  • Describe three opportunities to transcend live teaching with webinars and describe three techniques for engaging a webinar audience
