This session is for the expert or advance practice WOC nurse with a pediatric focus who may manage spinal bifida patients with urinary and fecal continence issues. Holistic management including psycho-social, behavioral, pharmacological, and bowel & bladder augmentation will be illustrated.
Define current best practice for evaluation and management (behavioral, pharmacological and psycho-social) of fecal and urinary incontinence for children with spinal bifida
Discuss bowel and bladder augmentation when the child is unresponsive to behavioral and pharmacological management
