This session seeks to address a gap in that WOC nurses have limited exposure tin developing action plans related to specific specialty data and applying these to patient outcomes. To in act a change in this current state, WOC nurses need to be at the table when discussing documentation and data collected via the electronic health record. To contribute, WOC nurses must understand the link between owning and evaluating quality patient data to improve outcomes. This presentation will address these issues by presenting ideas for owning WOC specialty data for action plan development, and gaining recognition to have a seat at the table.
