Part 3 of ‘Remember the “C”, Ya’ll are Continence Care Nurses! Proper containment options for fecal incontinence is lacking, complications such as incontinence dermatitis or pressure ulcer development may be avoided if this issue is addressed in a timely fashion. Participants will enhance their knowledge regarding best practice options in containment for fecal incontinence including the use of absorptive products, external, and internal fecal management systems in the acute care setting as well as when each modality is most appropriate for use.
