Jun 5, 2016 4:00pm ‐ Jun 5, 2016 5:00pm

Standard: $10.00

Description

Work and life can be challenging with the fast pace and ever changing landscape, especially in healthcare. Events happen that feel beyond our control, and demands for our time stretch us past our limits. How can we effectively deal with life’s challenges AND maintain productivity, a positive attitude and motivation? This program, based on the book The Power of T.E.D., introduces participants to the roles of the Dreaded Drama Triangle (DDT) to increase their self awareness. In addition, we introduce the anecdote to drama in the form of 3 vital questions to make shift happen.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize The Dreaded Drama Triangle (DDT)™ and how the roles and mindsets of Victim, Persecutor and Rescuer keep us stuck in non-productive patterns
  • Explain how The Empowerment Dynamic* (*TED)™ creates more powerful roles as alternatives to those found in the DDT
  • Provide a strategy for shifting yourself and others out of the Dreaded Drama Triangle

Speaker(s):

  • Chris Nagel, ACC, GPCC, Director, Cleveland Clinic Leadership Experience, Cleveland Clinic
