Description

This session will outline some of the unique aspects of pediatric and neonatal wound care. It will also cover some of the strategies that have been implemented to treat this special group of patients. It will facilitate providers to understand the state of the art in wound treatment techniques in the pediatric and neonatal population.

  • Understanding the challenges that are encountered in the wound care practice of neonatal and pediatrics patients
  • Understand the unique aspects of pediatric and neonatal wound care and will be able to manage these patients in a more effective way
  • Experienced pediatric and neonatal providers, that provides some pearls that will be useful for the daily management of these children
