Many WOC nurses find enterocutaneous fistula problematic to manage. Each fistula presents differently and poses unique challenges. Individuals are always discussing difficult cases and looking for alternate ways to better manage fistulae. This lecture discusses principles of fistula management including pouching techniques as well as methods used to isolate a fistula. Case studies will illustrate discussed methods.
