Program Overview:
This session will attempt to describe types of fecal incontinence, causes of fecal incontinence, treatment methods/medications for fecal incontinence, as well as the impact of fecal incontinence on the child and family.
We will also be discussing the 3 major types of urinary incontinence in the pediatric population including their clinical presentation, assessment and management including pharm logical and non-pharm logical treatments.
Learning Objectives:
- The learner will better understand assessment and management of urinary and fecal incontinence in the pediatric population.
