Program Overview:
Calciphylaxis is a rare and poorly understood condition. This presents a challenge for clinicians both diagnostically and therapeutically. This session will review the identification of calciphylaxis, what is known about its pathophysiology, and current treatment options. Approaches to wound care and the existing evidence for each approach will be discussed.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to identify and
understand the multimodal treatment of calciphylaxis.
