Program Overview:
Stoma location, height and shape, and abdominal contours can lead to poor pouch adherence. This course explores a case study about the use of fat grafting to correct pouching issues for select pouching situations. This session will discuss common factors that contribute to a poor wear time, and it will explain the principles of fat grafting as a strategy for improving abdominal contours. The session will also discuss future research opportunities related to the use of fat grafting.

Learning Outcome:
The learner will report increased confidence in assessing if fat grafting may be an option for patients with abnormal abdominal plane contours.
