Margaret M. Ecklund MS, RN, CCRN-K, ACNP-BC, WTA-C

The speaker is an APRN - with recent expertise as CNS for pressure injury prevention for an eight-hospital system in NW Oregon/Washington. Prior to that, she worked as an APRN - Acute care NP for complex pulmonary patients in Rochester NY. In that role, she spent 22 years managing the plans of care and treating patients with complex pulmonary /airway needs. Thorough out her career, Margaret has focused on the importance of the interdisciplinary team for collaboration for best outcomes. She has lectured, published and lead committees on clinical and team projects. Her expertise for this presentation stems from the system work of collaborating with CAUTI prevention and skin care champions to work out a plan for managing the female incontinence challenges, while protecting skin and removing indwelling devices.
