Mona M. Baharestani PhD, APN, CWOCN, CWS

Dr. Baharestani is an Associate Professor at East Tennessee State University in the Center for Nursing Research where she is currently serving as Principal Investigator on six clinical wound healing studies, while holding a clinical appointment in Wound Care at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center also located in Johnson City, Tennessee. She has presented over 725 national and international lectures on wound healing topics. She has published multiple book chapters and peer-reviewed articles, has studied wound care practices abroad as the US Wound Care Ambassador to France and serves as faculty to the Oxford University Wound Healing Summer School.
