As a CWOCN for over 2 years at North Shore University Hospital, Laura cares for over 200 ostomates yearly and consults on over 100 patients preoperatively for stoma marking and teaching. As CWOCN in the acute care facility, she provides education and support to the ostomy patient, family, caregivers and staff.
