Neal Carty joined ConvaTec late last year, bringing with him more than ten years of experience in medical adhesives R&D and product development. In his joint role leading Ostomy R&D as well as ConvaTec’s global Center of Excellence on Advanced Biomaterials, Neal is focused on introducing innovative technologies that can improve ostomates’ lives all around the world. Neal’s authored numerous publications and holds several patents in the field of medical materials. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Caltech and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, and currently resides in the Boston area.
