Elizabeth Savage MSN, RN, ACNS-BC, CWON, IIWCC-NYU

Elizabeth Savage has worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Registered Professional Nurse for 15 years in multiple areas including medicine, surgery, orthopedics, psychiatry, substance abuse, emergency medicine, wound care and most recently ostomy care. Ms Savage is a board-certified Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, Certified Wound Care Nurse and Certified Ostomy Nurse. She is currently the Wound & Ostomy Program Manager at New York University Langone Health System where she provides leadership for the management and coordination of care for in- and outpatient wound, Ostomy, and continence patients. She is heavily involved in quality improvement, education, mentoring and process improvement when it comes to the care of her patient population. In addition to her clinical work, Ms Savage serves as a consultant on the Skin Health Advisory Board member for Medline, as an EHOB Skin Health Ambassador and works as a legal nurse consultant. Her passion for improvement, quality and patient advocacy can be seen through her initiatives and drive within her organization.
