Luke Nelligan DO

Luke Nelligan, DO, graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1991, served as a Chief Intern at the Hospital of PCOM and Completed his Residency in Family Medicine at Graduate City Avenue Hospital. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Nelligan has been a Hospice Medical Director since 2007 and now serves as a Regional Medical Director for Michigan and Indiana for Compassus Hospice. He presently serves as the Chair of Family Medicine at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine, an institution that he was integral in forming, which is the first new medical school in Indiana in over 100 years. Most importantly he collaborates with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants on a daily basis and he was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare by his sister, Jody Scardillo, DNP.
