Jessica Lieder graduated NYU School of Nursing in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and began working as a registered nurse at NYU Langone Health in critical care and medicine. In 2016, she completed her Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPC-NP) degree and specialized in wound and ostomy care. She is a board certified AGPC-NP and holds certifications in Wound and Ostomy Nursing from the WOCNCB and wound care through the University of Toronto's International Interprofessional Wound Care Course. Ms. Lieder currently works as a nurse practitioner in wound and ostomy care at NYU Langone Health. Ms. Lieder provides direct patient care in-patient and outpatient for wound and ostomy patients. She serves as a clinical resource and provides education in wound, ostomy and continence care for the interdisciplinary staff, patients and families at NYU Langone Health. Ms. Lieder participates in quality improvement initiatives within the hospital system related to pressure injury prevention, evidence based ostomy management and evidence based wound care. Ms. Lieder is actively involved in wound research and has presented on wound assessment, wound care and covid skin changes for interdisciplinary audiences. She is a clinical wound care expert with a private consulting practice for medical legal matters and skin and wound market research.
