Elizabeth MacWhinnie BSN, RN, CWON

Elizabeth MacWhinnie BSN, RN, CWON has worked in the Homecare setting for thirteen years. She has held a variety of roles including case manager, clinical manager, and, currently, Wound/Ostomy Specialist. She has been certified in wound and ostomy for seven years and continues to see patients daily, while also acting as an educator and resource for her fellow clinicians. She is involved in multiple infection-prevention quality improvement initiatives at her agency. She is a member of the Nursing Recognition and Development Committee for the Elliot Health System and participates yearly in the Advancing Clinical Excellence program.

Elizabeth is also a member of the Leadership Committee of the New England Region WOCN.
