Dr. Diane Maydick Youngberg EdD, RN, ACNS-BC, CWOCN

Dr. Diane Maydick-Youngberg has worked in a variety of roles and care settings including tertiary academic medical centers, academia, industry and public health. She holds a research doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University in Organizational Leadership and Development. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Medical Surgical Nursing (ACNS-BC) and by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Certification Board as a Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN). She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing, Ostomy/Wound Management, and the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists. Diane’s research focuses on quality of life, patient outcomes and prevention of injury.
