Margaret Bobonich DNP, FNP-C, DCNP, FAANP

Dr. Margaret Bobonich established a post-master’s interdisciplinary two-year Dermatology NP Residency program at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. She developed the curriculum and chaired the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Specialty Track in Dermatology for Primary Care NPs. Dr. Bobonich’s research focus is on the development of innovative and interdisciplinary education and practice in dermatology. She has published her Delphi Study research, “Establishing a Core Curriculum for Dermatology NPs.” She has received numerous awards including: the Dean’s Legacy Award from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University; nominated by University Hospitals Case Medical Center as the 2011 Ohio Health Care Worker of the Year; and, received the Dermatology Nurses’ Association Community Service Award for her work both in the U.S. and in Guatemala. Dr. Bobonich is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2011. On a more personal and fun note, in 2005 Dr. Bobonich was the first nurse to compete in the original television reality show, CBS Survivor Guatemala. She showcased the strength and integrity of professional nurses across the U.S.
