Terrie Beeson MSN, RN, CCRN, ACNS-BC

Terrie Beeson is a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in the surgical intensive and surgical progressive care units at Indiana University Health, University Hospital. The majority of her 40 years of nursing practice has been in a critical care setting. She is a board certified CNS, certified critical care nurse, and a member of several local and national professional organizations.
She has spoken nationally, has multiple publications with research in the areas of pressure injuries, bowel management, reduction of catheter associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI’s), enteral nutrition and prone therapy. She has lectured nationally on pressure injuries and prevention of hospital acquired CAUTI’s. Her passion is to decrease patient harm and embrace challenges around innovation in an effort to improve patient care delivery.
