Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University

Shelly King is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University. She is the director of the Children’s Continence Center, and has more than 25 years experience in the field of pediatric urology. Her clinical expertise is in the care of neuropathic bladder and surgical reconstruction of the urinary tract. She serves as an educational advisor to the pediatric urology nurses board at the AAP and is a past chair of the organization. She has written many educational tools for parent and patients, she also has multiple professional publications, lectures and awards. Currently she is the urodynamics course director for the Society of Urologic Nurses (SUNA).
