Dorothy has been a WOC nurse since 1980, and has worked primarily in acute care. She is past President of the WOCN Society and former Director of the WOC Nursing Education Program at Emory University. She has multiple presentations and publication. in the field of WOC nursing, and is currently an instructor in the Emory University WOC Nursing Education Program.
