Ms. Stephanie Horgan LCSW

Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her master's degree at Loyola University Chicago. She has over 6 years of experience working with people living with chronic and terminal illness. Stephanie is highly experienced in working with children and adolescents in particular, building on her experience as a special education teacher in the Chicago Public Schools. She also has worked in an outpatient oncology setting for 5 years.

Stephanie has presented at several patient conferences including the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, Girls With Guts, the CURED Foundation, and the United Ostomy Association of America as well as various ostomy support groups. She has served on the board for the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care. She has a unique perspective to share, as she not only counsels ostmomates, but is an ostomate herself since 2012. She loves helping new patients with chronic illnesses learn coping skills to live their best lives possible.
