Ms. Catherine M. Fisher BSN, RN, CWOCN

As a Registered Nurse, Catherine has 41 years in nursing practice, including 10 years as a certified wound, ostomy, and continence nurse. She received her bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University, Wayne NJ and completed her WOC Nurse education through the program provided by Wicks Educational Associates, Inc. She is employed by Glens Falls Hospital, Glens Falls, NY, a community hospital located in upstate NY. Catherine has had 3 abstracts accepted to prior conferences on topics of incontinence, pressure injury, and hydrophilic wound dressings. In 2015, she was named as one of the top 25 nurses in the Times Union Salute to Nurses, Albany, NY. At Glens Falls Hospital she has been awarded both a nurse of excellence award in 2005 and nurse teacher of the year award in 2018.
