Ruth Bryant MS, RN, CWOCN

Ruth is the co-creator and director of the webWOC Nursing Education Program - the first on-line education program for the specialty of wound, ostomy and continence nursing, currently in its ninth year! She received her ET certificate from Jewish Hospital Washington University in St. Louis in 1979. Over the years, she has worked as a WOC nurse first in Omaha, Nebraska, then Minneapolis and Oklahoma City. Ruth completed her Master’s degree in nursing from the University Of Minnesota School Of Nursing in 1989. Ruth has been an active leader in WOC nursing on the local, regional and national level. She served two terms as president of the WOCN Society, and served as a member of many committees such as the conference planning committee and test item review committee for the WOCN Certification Board. Ruth is a writer, national and international speaker, and reviewer for the JWOCN. She also co-edits the Acute and Chronic Wounds textbook.
