Taha Qazi did his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan, then went on to Indiana University, where he obtained his medical doctorate. Dr. Qazi continued by training, with an internship and residency at Boston University (BU), where in his final year he was selected as a chief medical resident. Dr. Qazi gained expertise on the management of routine medical care issues, associated with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) care, including vaccinations, cancer screening. He continued training at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, a Harvard affiliated hospital, where he worked on remote-monitoring and the assessment of sleep. He also had additional training as an Advanced IBD physician, following his GI fellowship, at BU. Dr. Qazi's been recently hired with the IBD medical home, where he hopes to continue to develop his interest surrounding sleep in patients with IBD, but also expand his interest in the realm of psyhogastroenterology.
