A chasm exists between what health professionals like nurses are being taught in pre-licensure education and the knowledge and skills these professionals will need to work in the health care system of the future. Consequently, ongoing professional development will be required for continued competence across the course of a career. This webinar will discuss the need for professional development in the context of the business of healthcare. Critical issues like career strategizing and mentoring and mentorships relationships will be targeted. Requisite business skills like professional appearance, resume development, and successful interviewing will be included.
